Georgia DOT’s Wildflower Program

Since its inception in 1974, the Georgia DOT Wildflower Program has focused on visual appeal. The program explores how flowers can assist wildlife and Georgia’s huge agricultural industry. These blooms are not only attractive, they also provide sustenance for butterflies, bees, hummingbirds and bats while providing much needed pollination for neighborhood farmland.
